Deliver us from EVIL

MORE and more people are corroborating Jun Lozada's claim that Ched Chair Romy Neri called President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo "evil."

Ano ba namang pake natin sa name-calling di ba? But still, I still think GMA is one of the most evil politicians we've ever had. Actually, one of the most evil Filipinos I know. Why?

- In the Hello Garci tapes, she consented to the "soft touch" approach Garci was proposing to pressure one of the operators who may squeal on their plans; Soft touch means, "Garcillano: Boy, maghanap ka lang ng well-meaning na kamag-anak nya. Huwag mo munang pakikidnap ‘yung pamilya. Soft touch muna na puwedeng maka-persuade sa kanya..."

- She uses the state's resources and institutions to hold on to her post. It's creepy how her government has been wiretapping citizens to monitor our movements.

- She bribes almost everyone to get what she wants/or to stay in power (Remember when Father Gov came out with the P500k-in-a-brown-bag "give-away" in Malacañang?)

- She was born rich; What the heck is she going to do with the millions of peso/dollars of kickbacks?

- She lets corruption thrive under her nose; Neri told her about the P200M commission Abalos was offering him regarding the NBN deal but she just told Neri not to accept the bribe but approve the project.

- She uses her brains and machinery to outsmart the law, the people, everyone. I bet part of the kickbacks go to her very own "bribery fund"--funds used for illegal purposes.

- She thinks she and her cohorts can get away with anything! As in anything! She thinks she can fool all Filipinos and worm her way to the 2010 finish line.

- Marami pang iba. Basta she's evil, evil, evil!!!!

The picture is made more chilling when Arroyo, the Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces, is apparently involved in a conversation implicitly agreeing to “control” Hali.
